What a very cool place to hang out. The drinks are kinda pricey but delicious. It is a great vibe and fun place to get drinks with friends. The bartender made me a custom drink that I requested taste very chocolatey and he succeeded. We will definitely be back and catch the live music.

Old Hat Bar is such a special place! The crew is amazing and so genuine. The food is delicious and the drinks are creative and out of this world! 5 stars to you all! Give this new gem in Old Town Alexandria a try if you haven't already! You won't regret it! The Cemita and Korean Cheesesteak are great choices!

This is what I think of when I hear the words “cocktail bar.” The atmosphere was unmatched. Jack was a convivial bartender and made my partner and I feel very welcome coming in for a night capper (or two) on our anniversary. Will definitely be back.

I was greeted as I entered by Jack, great outfit by the way, matched the theme of the restaurant and made me feel like I entered a whole new realm. Cocktails fantastic of course, excellent energy from Jack, Tim, and customers alike. I cannot believe it took me so long to finally visit this bar as I had already heard so many wonderful things about it. I’m excited to try their food and each and every cocktail on the menu. Lovely service, decor, and it is surely an experience you’ll never forget.

Fantastic cocktail bar in Alexandria. It's instantly one of my favorite new bars here. Jack, the bartender and proprietor, is really nice and made us several off the menu cocktails which we loved. The homemade kimchi hotdog was unreal and the loaded fries were fantastic. You have to go here. Not only are the drinks and food top notch, the atmosphere is intimate and warm. Highly recommend for everyone.

You walk in and immediately feel like you stumbled on old towns best kept secret. The bar is loud, has multiple floors and you are greeted with the owner in an old hat! The vibe is aa if a Brooklyn bar had a baby with a bar in dc. One thing is for sure…cocktails are unique and well balanced. Prices were very reasonable!

Outstanding. Live around here but had never been. Wanted a place with ability to talk and creative mixed drinks. With husband had local NaR beer and two mixed drinks which were solid - creative - would order both again - Penultimate Word (one of the best mezcal drinks I’ve had outside of Santa Fe and Oya Mel in DC) and a Sconnie Old Fashioned. Good pour too. Not all ice. Split a burger and the goat cheese toast ap. Wonderful. Go go go.

Incredible cocktail bar with an inventive menu, excellent mixologist behind the bar, and a fun and energetic atmosphere. Loved the funky and colorful decor. Really made this visit to Alexandria memorable. Highly recommended and can't wait to return.
